Loving Children for over 25 years!
Infants and Toddlers
Infants
Age 6 weeks to 18 months
Our infant room will provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment for  your baby to feel safe and begin their exploration of the world around them!  Each child's personal schedule will be followed to ensure all of their individual needs are met. Your baby will be provided many opportunities to interact with their caregiver through playing, rocking, cuddling, feeding and changing. We will verbally label objects for baby so that they will begin to associate objects with spoken words! All babies are surrounded with language experiences as they are spoken to, sung to, listen to stories and music. They are visually stimulated through the use of colorful objects, toys, pictures, and books. They will be encouraged to reach, grasp, stretch, creep, crawl, and stand when ready to walk. It is our goal to build a relationship with your child to encourage a love of learning and to help them grow physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

Toddlers
18 months to 36 months
Our toddler room is always buzzing with excitement and learning!  On any given day children can be found dancing, taking a nature walk or "kicking back" in our cozy corner. As we guide children into their first formal learning experiences we also foster the fun their is in being a child! At this age children are introduced to short group activities and are devloping more trusting relationships with care givers and peers. We are able to focus on childrens interests as they become more evident and share the joy of uncovering the mechanics of everyday life! We introduce children to "circle time" and surround them with even more meaningful language to enhance the learning value of each new experience. Children contiune to develop the idea that they can make things happen. This increased awreness occurs while the children are enjoying sand play, dress up,  toy riding, shape sorting, block building, kitchen play, coloring, pasting, ball bouncing and many other activities. Table manners are focused on during meal time. Children are transitioned from sippy cups to "big kid cups" and are encouraged to use silverware rather than hands while eating. Potty training is also worked on with positive reinforcement as well as other self help skills. Teachers are always ready to lend a helping hand if needed but, allow for self exploration to take place! So pardon our messy hands and sometimes toy filled floors... learning and fun are taking place within our toddler room walls!
